They say that dogs are man’s best friend, but the moment you come face-to-face with an aggressive dog, that old expression is hard to believe. Millions of Americans are attacked by dogs each year. In Chicago, a 62-year-old man that was jogging in Rainbow Beach Park was brutally attacked by two pit bulls.
The man was being attacked by the two pit bulls for nearly 45 minutes, before someone came to his rescue. Lee, the gentlemen that heard the man screaming for help through his window in his apartment and through the window he witnessed the pits attacking the man. Lee ran out to help with man with a bat in hand. The victim remains in critical condition.
The dog’s owner is being has received two fines for failing to restrain the dogs and failing to license them.
